A small press with a long memory.
Fenmark Press is an independent publisher of mythic fiction, speculative worlds, and thoughtful non-fiction.
We began with a simple conviction: that there is still a place for books made carefully — worlds built with real history behind them, prose that has been worked rather than rushed, and editions that respect the reader's time and attention.
Editorial direction
Our taste runs to the epic and the mythic: fantasy and science-fantasy with genuine depth, and non-fiction that engages with philosophy, history, and the imagination. We are drawn to work that rewards patience and re-reading, and that treats its readers as intelligent company.
Production standards
Typography, cover design, cartography, and editing are part of the work, not decoration added at the end. We care how a book reads and how it sits in the hand.
Where we are
Fenmark is a young press, and we see no reason to pretend otherwise. Rather than manufacture a history we do not have, we are building one — publicly, and in real time. Our first titles are in preparation now.
